All about that bed, bout that bed, bout that bed…

We recently got a new mattress (hello heavenly sleep) and I figured I could update y’all on that and our bed accessories.

Here’s our Master Bedroom. I love the soft grey walls with grey and pops of coral-y pink-y cherry. I bought all the fabrics online from Fabric.com. I posted about the fabric I picked out in this post. The bedskirt is Premier Prints “ikat domino flamingo” and the king shams are Premier Prints “rosa flamingo” (no longer available) with a grey border.

The headboard is from Wayfair. There’s so many options there and watch for the sales! I believe at the time, this was only $120! The euro shams in coral are from Stein Mart. I was just browsing their bedding section and saw them for about $15 each, brought them home and they matched perfectly! They are starting to look a little nubby, so I may switch them out for a white euro with a coral border and put my monogram on the top so you see the monogram, even with the king shams in front. The coral square pillows were another find from Tuesday Morning. I love how their nail head border draws back to the nail head border on the headboard. I know a pink and coral bedroom is so not manly (thankfully, my husband could care less), and that’s why it’s the accent and pop, but I really tried to bring in some masculine elements when I could. 100_1011

I’ll update y’all on the rest of the room when I finally get around to finishing it! Some things I am working on:

  • sliding doors over my closet and bathroom door (crazy but we have 5 doors in this bedroom and two of them are always hitting each other so I am hopeful this will solve the problem). I’ve been researching barn doors and trying to determine the best style to keep with my modern-ish master.
  • accessorizing the dresser under the TV. We mounted the TV, which I highly recommend–it’s so much better for viewing in better, but the surface of the dresser is in a constant state of clutter. Working on that!
