Memorial Day Table Top Inspiration

I had grand plans to host a Memorial Day Brunch, but all our friends are out of town! We have nowhere to go…so I’ll guess I’ll make this brunch for hubby and me! Nonetheless, I’ve created some inspiration. I think Memorial Day kicks off the patriotic holiday season…all the red, white, and blue for summer entertaining. So all these pieces can be used again and again!Memorial Day Table Top

Pier 1 Rattan Placemats — I love a natural element on a table and I like the tone of these–not too dark, but not too late either–just right!

Pier 1 White Chargers — A white charger sets a crisp background for the plate to really pop!

Juliska Country Estate Plates — My mom started collecting this pattern a few years. I love that it’s “new” but still feels old.

Target Blue Bubble Glass — These are great everyday glasses for water or a cocktail.

Bed, Bath, Beyond Red Stemless Wine Glass — Red isn’t my fave color, but there are holidays that just call for it — all things patriotic and Christmas and Valentines!

Pier 1 Gingham Napkins — the simple pattern is a nice pop against the country estate plate.

Nicole Miller Bamboo Flatware — I’ve always wanted a set of this! It’s a classic chinoiserie look that can be so versatile.

Wayfair Red Outdoor Pillow — a pillow is a great way to add a touch of festive flair to your outdoor decor.

Target Bistro Chairs — what a deal for 2! I love small chairs like this. They are so versatile outside for additional seating around the table or around the sectional.

One Kings Lane Vase — the floral vine on this vase is giving chinoiserie vibes. I love how this can be used for several holidays!

Pier 1 Faux Hydrangea — white hydrangeas are always a good floral arrangement. If you’re a plant killer, get the fakes!

American Flags — don’t forget the flags! These make great accents popping out your floral arrangement or a large grouping as the centerpiece on a coffee table.

Happy Memorial Day! And many thanks to those who have sacrificed for our freedom!
