I’ve been sharing my daily outfits lately, and as much as I adore pink, I keep returning to blue and white. Something about this color combination on lightweight fabrics keeps me going for more.
Combine these colors with a lightweight fabric, and you’re summertime cool and chic. The dress above is a Calvin Klein that I found at TJ Maxx last year and it’s actually still available here at Macys! I love the a-line, fit and flare style; combined with a faux wrap, it makes my waist look tiny and I love that! The sleeveless style is comfortable for summer, but still covered enough to be appropriate for work or church. The linen-like fabric is very lightweight and it even has a liner that is lightweight as well.
And it has a bow! The wide faux belt makes a big bow, further accentuating the waist. The stems cascade down the dress, adding to the flowiness of the ensemble.
On the twirl scale, I give it a 7–flowy and full to sashay as you walk, but not so much that a strong breeze is gonna reveal undergarments.
Always looking out for you, here’s more blue and white striped dress that I’m crushing on right now.
The dress I’m wearing. I’ve already told you why I love it!
