We recently had a short stay at a very nice resort. While it is very luxurious, there is no place like home, and there were a few things that I just couldn’t wait to get back to. Here they are!
Engineered Sleep Mattress
When we took this trip last year, we had not yet updated our bedroom. I remember thinking on this trip, “gosh, we really need a new bed, this is so luxurious.” We updated our bedroom and mattress in May of last year and it’s been quite the serene and restful spot. Fast forward to the trip this year; y’all, I woke up on that first morning thinking “wow, our Engineered Sleep mattress is so much better than this one.”
What’s even more ironic is that Chris said the exact same thing! Later that morning he told me he didn’t sleep well and was already looking forward to getting home to our bed. Fluffy Towel Robe
I love a robe of any kind; being wrapped up in the mornings is a great way to start the day. After I work out, I come home and shower and wrap up in my Weezie robe. I love how thick it is! I missed having the plush terry.
3 Way Light Bulbs
I was so surprised the bedside lamps didn’t have 3 way light bulbs! And they were definitely 3 way lamps. You know when you go to turn the switch and it doesn’t do anything; you turn it again and then it turns on…That’s because it’s a 3 way lamp with a one way bulb in it. I know, I know…I’m a lightbulb snob. I just really appreciate having 50watts, then 100 watts, then 150 watts. Sometimes you want it bright and sometimes you want is barely lit. Here is my favorite 3 way bulb at Lowes. I cannot find that exact bulb on Amazon, but this set meets my requirements (I’ll order and test them out).
