4 Things That Made Me Feel Better While I Was Sick

I recently caught that nasty virus and it was pretty rough for a few days. Aside from loading up on medicines, here’s 4 things that made me feel better while I was sick. They at least lifted my spirits!

Pajama Outfits

Even if I’m not leaving the house, having on an outfit really makes me feel better. I love my Print Fresh pajamas because they are a cute pattern, so comfortable, and even have a coordinating headband! More about these pajamas here.

Cute Soft Clothes

On the days I felt like getting out of pajamas, I still wanted to be in soft clothes and I’m glad I’ve invested in soft clothes other than gym shorts and t-shirts. These sweat shorts and sweat shirt are adorable. I even mix and match with jeans or other shorts; it gives 3 outfits from one coordinating set!

Satin Pillowcase

My hubby came down with the virus first, and I vacated to the guest room initially. I’m glad I had a spare satin pillowcase to put on my pillow down there because I didn’t want to take my pillow from our infected room and bed with me. We’ve been constantly washing and disinfecting and having a back up of my favorite satin pillowcase has been nice while another one is in the wash. More about my pillowcase here.

Ice Roller, Jade Roller, and Gua Sha

I keep this ice roller in the fridge to depuff allergies during peak season, and this felt so good on my hot, congested head while sick. I had intense headaches that were strong on my forehead and down the back of my neck creating serious tension. Rolling the ice roller wheel down the neck felt so good and even rolling over my sinuses offered a bit of relief.

I am most certainly not an expert on this, but I can tell you it feels good. I enjoy the jade roller and gua sha stone even when I’m not sick; it feels like a little facial massage. I followed up the ice roller with this and it supposed to help lymphatic drainage. It certainly felt better! I also think this smaller roller and more acute rolling on the tension in my neck helped alleviate that tightness from the headache, too.
