As the world hustles and bustles, it’s time to be still. I love receiving gifts that make my faith stronger so I thought a guide of my favorite faith building and assisting items would be helpful!
The Devotionals
I added my favorite devotional New Morning Mercies. Anytime I share this, followers ask about it. It’s a wonderful book that convicts me of my sins, but also reminds me of how much I need Jesus.
My bible study leader recently gave us a copy a Fighting Words. I’m just a few devotionals in, but I love how its based on memorizing scripture and using those as our daily weapons to fight Satan.
The Prayerful Moments
I haven’t used a prayer journal (I usually just write stream of consciousness) but I found this journal and really appreciate the simple thoughts to help me think through each area of my life.
A dear friend gifted me one of these journals and I can’t wait to use it. Like doodling your prayers and scripture!
The Organization
Sometimes I can’t believe I used to have the books of the bible memorized for confirmation. That memorization has left me; thank goodness for tabs! Memorizing scripture is more important anyways!
My bible study leader gave us each one of these gel pastel highlighters and I love how it glides across thin bible pages without smudging or bleeding.
