Last year, Thomas Lee gifted me a set of sheets to try. You can read more here, but long story short, they’re percale and a wonderful cotton weave that let’s air flow and breathe. We never put another set on our bed, we always wash these and put them immediately back on. When we were updating our bedroom decor, it was an easy decision to turn to Thomas Lee for a coverlet and comforter. We’ve been so pleased with the quality of the sheets, I wanted that level of quality for our coverlet and duvet insert as well.

Thomas Lee Coverlet
One of the things I like most about the Thomas Lee sheets is that they actually fit our mattress. The fitted sheet goes all the way under (and our mattress is over 14″ thick” and doesn’t pop out like our previous sheets used to. The flat sheet is long, too; it covers the length of the mattress and plenty of length at the foot of the bed to tuck it under, too. The proper size allows each of us to be fully covered in bed and curl up. No more sheet tugging at night.

Knowing how well the Thomas Lee sheets fit our bed, I expected the coverlet to fit well, too. Of course it does! That’s the quality that Thomas Lee is! I can pull the coverlet all the way to the top of the mattress and the end at the foot of the bed still fully covers our extremely thick mattress and meets the bed rail; we don’t have to see the unsightly boxsprings. Same thing with the side of the bed, fully covers it.
Beyond the perfect size, it’s the perfect weight. In the summer, we sleep with just the sheet and this on top. The cotton allows air flow but it’s got just enough “heaviness” to it so you feel covered.
The true test is when a husband notices and compliments a change. I washed and put this on our bed and as my husband got in bed that evening, he asked “where did this come from?” I explained it was new and how I really liked the size of it for our bed. A little while later he said “it’s really nice, I like how this feels on top of me.” Husband approved, ya’ll.
Thomas Lee Down Alternative Comforter
When I chose new shams and duvet for our bedroom decor update and put in our old insert, I knew I was going to have to do some research and invest in a new one. Our old one didn’t even fit properly inside the duvet and it was very deflated looking; almost like there wasn’t anything in there.

I was impressed the moment I pulled out the Thomas Lee Down Alternative Comforter out of the box. I don’t know how they got something so fluffy in a condensed box! I also don’t know how something so fluffy can be so full without being heavy. It’s an amazing trifecta of fluffy and full while being lightweight.
The down alternative material is an added bonus; I have extreme allergies so this was a necessity!
