Hair Dryer
I bought this hair dryer a while back when my last one died. This hair dryer is small and compact, but powerful. The wind speed feels strong and forceful, but it doesn’t seem to get too hot to burn or damage my hair.
Hot Hair Brush
I much prefer to use this over a hair straightener. On days when I really need that extra shot of heat to get it smooth, this allows it to be smooth without flattening it. Lift up and pull the brush in a rounded motion to keep hair bouncy but smooth. It’s always such a good price!
Big Round Hair Brush
This is the brand I saw my hair dresser using and she recommended! This is nice and big and gets hair smooth and frizz free!
Velcro Rollers
These velcro rollers have a metal underneath them. When I use them, I like to blow dry my hair (or use that hot brush above on a hair section) and then put these in my hair. The metal gets warm and then the hair sets in that big velcro roller and gives excellent volume and bounce!
Hot Rollers
I think these are the most classic set of hot rollers on the planet. I’ve had my set for years! These are the way to go for volume and a little bit of curl on the ends. I tend to use these most when my shoulder length hair starts getting a little too long and I need a little something, something to get me to my next haircut!
Set of 5 Hot Rollers
I know many people who use this mini set of hot rollers just for volume, like you would velcro rollers on your top. I think it’s a matter of preference and how much curl on the ends you want and your hair type.
Travel Rollers
These are travel rollers because they are so small but this is what I use if I want my hair to be more curly on the ends–more curl rather than just a big bend on the ends. I’ve had these since high school! They still work great!
Dream Coat
Y’all, this stuff works! The dream coat blocks humidity! To get it to work, you do have to use it liberally. Section your hair off and be sure every bit of hair got a coating of the dream coat. You only need to use it every 3-4 washes, too!
Raise the Root
This provides amazing volume! When I blow dry my hair, I section it off and spray at the roots. Use the big round brush above and you’ve got amazing lift. Use with the dream coat above, and you’ve got dreamy smooth volume!
Purple Shampoo
I have highlighted hair (covering grays) and when I’m approaching my next hair appointment, the blonde tends to look brassy. Mixed with my natural brunette hair and my fair skin, that brassy is so not classy. A wash with the purple shampoo brightens it right back up! You do not need to let it sit; just an immediate work in the hair and immediate rinse is all it needs.
Hair Spray
I recently got this after my hair dresser was using it. It gives a great hold to hair without making it stiff. I move my head while it spray so that my hair has movement all day while still going back to it’s right place.
