Whether or not you’re decorating a nursery, I wanted to share the Amazon decor in the nursery because I think it could be useful or beautiful in any room in your home–not just rooms for babies! Here’s the Amazon decor in the nursery.
Semi Flush Mount Light Fixture
I love this semiflush mount light fixture! The quatrefoil is a great shape–simple but still unique. The gold frame adds a touch of modernity and the best part is the size and scale of this light. This semiflush mount light is 18″ wide. Most inexpensive lights are around 14″ wide and that just looks too dinky. Go bigger y’all! This is an excellent semiflush mount light to update your home at a good price point!
Rechargeable Lamp
We all know how much I adore the rechargeable lamps! I love being able to put a lamp anywhere–outside, travelling, etc. This lamp is actually one that comes with several rods so you can make it any height you want. I enjoy using it as a floor lamp outside, but I took off a couple of the rods to make this a good height on the table by our glider. This rechargeable lamp puts out light from the top and bottom of the shade. It’s also dimmable by holding down your finger. This will be great for late night feedings! Blue Anatolia Rug
This blue anatolia rug is absolutely fantastic! It would look so good in any room in your home! There’s several shades of blue that add such dimension and depth. The background is light enough to make it bright, but muted enough so that it doesn’t feel like foot traffic or every spec of dirt will show up. The blue anatolia rug is a wool/nylon blend, making it super durable and easy to spot clean. I also recommend this rug pad underneath it. I wanted a little extra cushion since this rug would be sat on and played on. The underside of this rug pad has a good gripper to it so you know it will stay in place. Classic Sconces
This is the fourth room in our home where I’ve installed these classic sconces! We didn’t have room on the dresser for lamps, so these add wonderful light to the space. A few more bonuses to these sconces–they are dimmable. We have them over our bed and it’s so nice to have soft light for waking up or winding down. The classic sconces will be excellent when trying to provide a soothing environment for the baby. This is also right when we walk into the room and easy for that first one to be our main light source to turn on when walking into a blacked out room. I cannot stand to walk into a dark room and immediately turn on a bright overhead; no way. The sconces will be soft and easier for all of us, especially the baby, to adjust to.
I used these cord covers with the sconces. They are not an identical match to the brass but you really gotta be looking close and being picky to notice. I would also recommend these light bulbs to use with them. I am picking and always prefer 3000K color temperature to show the true color of the space. These lightbulbs are also frosted; that means you don’t get shadows from the wires of the shades on the ceiling or the wall. See my list of preferred lightbulbs.

Jenny Lind Crib
Ok so this is an item you would only use in a nursery, but I had to share it because I can’t believe I found it on Amazon! I looked everywhere for a classic and traditional Jenny Lind style crib. I wanted the true Jenny Lind style, not just the bubble style, but the true Jenny Lind style. Who knew it would be affordable at our favorite retailer?! The brand also sells dressers, changing tables and more on Amazon.
Green Glass Lamp
Never too many lights in a room! This green swirl, all glass lamp adds a little touch of modern amongst all the vintage items. I love a little lamplight in a nook and having this on a shelf adds another layer of soft lighting. My hubby also put this green swirl lamp on a smart plug so we can control it from our phone; we can turn it on before we get in the space, or turn it off if we are sitting the glider and are nap trapped by a baby!
