For our Christmas party, my bible study does a beauty gift exchange. We each bring our favorite drug store beauty product under $20 and we exchange like white elephant. What I Brought to the Beauty Exchange
I brought my all time favorite mascara — L’Oreal Voluminous. I try others, but I keep coming back to it! I just saw that this is available in a two pack and subscribe and save and cheaper than at the drugstore! I also brought my new favorite lip balm with color — Pastel Exaltation by L’Oreal Hydrating Lip Balm. I’ve also been pairing that lip balm with the Beyond Pink Loreal lip liner. Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
Everyone raved about the Bum Bum cream and how it is for all over, not just your bum, ha! The juicy gossip was that Giselle doesn’t leave home without it and when I heard that, I put it in my person and figured I shouldn’t leave home without it either, haha!
Glo Mineral Eye Shadow Stick
We got little eye shadow makeovers with this Glo Eye Shadow stick! Beautiful neutral colors that add a subtle shimmer without looking like a teenager and super easy to apply–just wipe it on. Latte was determined as an excellent neutral color for your crease, Metro is the best color if you want to blend into your eyeline for a liner effect, and Beam is a great all over color.
Billie and Blinc
My friend who brought this said she loves the Billie razors and cream. She told us a glowing testimony of how she had horrible razor burn and in grown hairs all over her legs and after switching to Billie razors and creams, it went away within one use! I think the shaving cream would be an excellent stocking stuffer!
The Blinc mascara had us all mesmerized. Do you use tubing mascara? It lines each individual lash, wrapping them in a tube. When you wash it off, the tubes fall off rather than a smudgy mess of black all over your eyes. We asked about how this works if you cry and she said it usually stays on, but a tube may fall off and that’s better than a black mess over your eyes!
Gold Mask
What a luxurious gift! This Peter Thomas Roth gold mask was stolen a few times after we heard about the relaxing Sunday evenings in a gold mask and how it helps makes pore smaller and even helps with fine lines.
The Classics
Our mothers and our grandmothers used it, and I will say, the girls who swore by this had great skin. You can’t beat the original cold cream! The original was loved by all but I think I’m going to get the dry skin. My friend said this was the only thing that keeps her face moisturized in the winter and I’m gonna add to cart because my skin is already flakey dry!
