Every wardrobe needs a classic trench coat and I recently spotted this one for $52! The classic silhouette and tan color caught my eye from across the store, but the windowpane plaid in a various bright colors drew me in.

The navy makes it look good with jeans; the white makes it look good with white jeans. It’s truly a trench coat you’ll wear year round. It’s also got a stripe of light blue, coral-y pink, and light pink. The coral-y pink is repeated in the lining; by the way, the lining is a satin type material that makes it easy for your arm to slide all the way in.

I love the coral-y pink on the underside of the collar; it makes a statement when it’s popped. The belt has a buckle to make it tight, but I like to tie it in a loop for a casual, chic finish. This will be an excellent classic trench coat for year round, especially in the spring when days are in the 70s but you need a good layer in the morning and evening.
