- 8″ acrylic pedestal riser — I most commonly use the round because most lamps have a round base and many of my decorative objects are round like temple jars and ginger jars.
- 8” square acrylic pedestal riser — It’s important to mimic the shape of the object so get square if you have a square item.
- Read my original blog post on these items. Go see the side by side of the brass lamps with and without them. They look naked, or at the very least barefoot, without the riser. LOL
- Perfect white large ginger jar lamp — “Girthy” is the new word my mom and I use when we’re picking out decor. We don’t want skimpy, wimpy. We need impactful and girthy; and this lamp is most definitely it! It’s also available in a gorgeous blue!
- Hexagonal blue lamp — The unique shape and beautiful color makes this impactful. I’ll let you in one of my design formulas for updating a space while keeping it traditonal: traditional wood furniture + a modern lamp like this = perfectly curated and with the times while honoring the past. Check out these similar white and “belted” lamp and the square white and “belted” lamp. I call them belted because of the unique emphasis on the middle of the base.
- chinoisere lamp — These look like you spent years hunting them at estate sales and every antique store known to man, but they are available right now, saving you years of searching.
- Green fish scale lamp — Herend made the fish scale pattern a classic and I love seeing it on a larger object!
- orange door print — Isn’t this the happiest little welcome in print form? I have it in this clean and simple gold frame in my living room.
- bird mural trio — I’ve had these several places in my home! Years ago, they were on the big wall on my dining room, then I used a pair on either side of my buffet and now they are perfect over the sofa in my office.
- hydrageas — I love this loose and abstract of hydrangeas. The colors are so peaceful!
