I love this because of the loose fit, drop waist hem (slight ruffle) and it has sleeves. This is ideal to wear with sandals now or even with boots later. Loved the fun colors of this! The citrine yellow and orange add some color to blah fall palette. I sized down to a 4 in this. It has a seam at the waist, making it super flattering.
A ruffle cuff–such a sweet detail! The tie waist adds a nice flattering silhouette. I have this cut in a dress from them a few years ago and again, it’s easy to pair with booties or boots. I also sometimes remove the tie when I want a swing-y-er fit.
I have last year’s version that is extremely similar! A line and stripes…you can’t go wrong. Preppy in stripes, comfortable fit, those buttons add a nice extra detail. Looks good with tall boots or tights and black heels. I took a small in this dress. It is the most comfortable dress ever. The perfect way to look cute while in soft clothes.
Absolutely loving this and it is soooo versatile! This would look so good right now with booties. When it gets a little cooler, add a jean jacket or a creamy sweater/cardigan and suede boots. This can also carry you into spring with the lighter background. This was too short on me. I am 5’9″ and just couldn’t do it. If you’re shorter, it would be adorable! I did take a size 4 and felt that fit well up top. Perhaps the 6 would give me more length, but they did not have that in store for me to try on.
Oh that fringe hem! And you know I love the navy! What’s great about this is that you can wear it like this sleeveless or add a pop of color with my fave tissue turtlenecks underneath when it gets a little cooler. I tried this on (see stories) and took a size 6. I felt I needed the 6 on my hips since this dress is a little more fitted.
You can’t go wrong with a shirt dress. This is something you’ll have in your closet for years! I love that the placket is covered, has nice finished cuffs, and a pretty tie. You can wear this from April to November and always look fresh and professional. I tried it on (see stories) and took a size small.
This looks like soft clothes in a dress and I am here for that! Soft material, flattering tie waist, looser fit, and pockets!
