Do you dread meal planning? Pull out a legal pad and try to come up with some sort of plan to grocery shop and cook and it’s just so blah….NOT ANYMORE! The weekly meal planning chore just got a seriously stylish upgrade to chinoiserie chic and it’s all thanks to my talented friend, Morgan, of Miss Wyolene! Meal planning just got a lot more fun!

Meal Planning Notepads
At the beginning of this year, I outlined the 4 calendars I use to stay organized. One of them is Miss Wyolene’s meal planning pad. I’m not overexaggerating when I say this one calendar is a gamechanger when it comes to meal organization.

I was trying to keep track of meal planning in my agenda and that was only helpful for me (not my hubs who was wondering what the deal was). Furthermore, I would sometimes leave the agenda at my desk. Now, with this one notepad devoted only to meals, I can leave this on the kitchen counter for everyone in the house to reference (so we don’t have to hear “what’s for supper?”) and take the tear away list with me in my purse.
The Tear Away List
Another aspect I love about this pad is the tear away list. As you’re planning your meals, you can make your shopping list to the right. The pages are already perforated for a smooth and easy tear!
Chinoiserie Chic Patterns
When I shared my meal planning pad earlier this year, Morgan reached out to see if I would be interested in a collaboration. She wanted to design a pattern with the decor elements I gab about on Instagram to y’all all the time: blue and white, chinoiserie, pagodas, bamboo. Some of my favorite things! I am beyond flattered to collaborate on this fantastic organizational tool!

Morgan’s artistic talents truly shine in these chinoiserie designs. Oh I just sit and admire the pagodas with tassels on the corners and the bamboo framed grid creating the week. The blue and white is so classic and I love the teal-y turquoise with deep blue for a fun mix up! Truly, meal planning is a heck of a lot more fun now.
A Smart Surcie
Y’all know I am all about pretty and practical, especially when it comes to gifts. Remember my Galentine Gifts? As Mother’s Day approaches, these are fantastic gifts for your girlfriends and moms. It’s a chore that must be done so let’s add an element of fun with a chinoiserie touch. These also make a sweet little “thinking of you and miss you while you’re cooking all those meals in this pandemic” porch drop for a friend. Why not make it an Easter surcie?!
More About Miss Wyolene
Morgan Young is the designer and creator of Miss Wyolene. Her business is named after grandmother. How sweet is that? Beyond these amazing meal planning pads, she has a plethora of other paper goods including recipe cards, perpetual birthday calendars (genius organization idea!), and instant downloads that make greeting cards way more fun and accessible than a trip to the drugstore. Check out these teacher gift tag cards, the rock on sister cards, and I’m pretty sure everyone needs to download this and give it to every single teacher they know.
Enjoy planning those meals, y’all! xoxo
