One of my pet peeves is when throw pillows looked “tossed” on the furniture they are accenting–especially on the bed. When I see a made bed with pillows tossed up there, to me, it looks like the wife asked the husband to make the bed and because no man wants accent pillows on the bed, he just threw them up there haphazardly. LOL!
How to Make Your Bed Pillows Stand Up
While I do stack my sleeping pillows behind the accent pillows, and that helps support the accent pillows, the major thing is to get proper inserts for your shams so they support themselves. Always go at least one size bigger for your inserts. For example, a 26″ euro sham needs a 28″ insert. You may consider using a 30″ insert if you really want it full and stout.
