Creating tablescapes is one of my favorite things to do. It’s welcoming someone into your home and creating something pretty for them to enjoy in your home. Mother’s Day is a special time to create a tablescape for the special motherly figures in your life.
The Place Setting
The inspiration behind the pastel colors was the beautiful packaging of the Greenleaf Gifts Bella Freesia items. I use this scent in my guest room suite and the packaging with the blue and yellow was a pretty and soft palette to draw inspiration from.
From there, I knew I wanted to use my Bird of Paradise china with the golden yellow rim. The sweet bird elements reminded me of the Lucy Grymes paper placemats with similar pastel tones. The blue rim echoed the blue monogram in my Preppy Stitch napkin twillies and the tulipieres from Abigails completed the tablescape.
