I’ve been a fan of Corkcicle for years! Do you remember their first product? It was an icecicle that you froze and put inside a bottle of wine to keep it cold. I used to put these in gift baskets for award winners at my old job. After seeing how well that one item kept a beverage cold, I hopped onto the tumbler products.
Funny story….several years ago we were at the beach for the Fourth of July. It was the hottest holiday on record; I think the real feel was 105 or something insane. Because we were at the beach, we wanted to enjoy the beach. So we packed a cooler and headed down. I poured my beverage into my Corkcicle tumbler. Hubby poured his into a styrofoam cup. His beverage was instantly warm and needless to say, he was not enjoying the heat with a hot beverage. We got up and went to purchase him a Corkcicle immediately. We’ve been enjoying cool beverages in Corkcicle ever since then!
We still have our years old tumblers and use them regularly. I recently purchased some new ones for us and wanted to share how we’re enjoying them!
- Commuter Cup — This is my favorite tumbler when I take coffee to go. Because it’s narrow, it feels perfectly in the cup holder of my car. I love the lid on this! It’s a button that you push to open or push again to close. I have also tested the spill proof capability; when the lid is in the closed position, even when I turn it upside down, nothing comes out. We chose the color River, but it’s also available in several other colors and a smaller size, too.
- Cold Cup — How adorable is this springtime plaid? The cold cup comes with this lid and straw, and it is very leak proof! When you turn it upside down, it will only leak through the opening in the straw. Nothing comes out the lid sides or around the straw.
- Vineyard Vines Tumbler — I also couldn’t resist a bright and happy floral in the classic tumbler. This comes with the clear lid that has a slideable open and close for the drink opening.
- Tumbler made into a Cold Cup with a Straw and Lid — Hubby needed a new tumbler, too. We got him a classic tumbler that comes with the clear lid. We purchased the straw and lid combo so he can use it any way he wants! That’s right–the 24oz tumblers work with the clear lids and the straw and lid combo!
