Who doesn’t love school supplies? They aren’t just for the kids! As someone who writes EVERYTHING down, I’ve experience a lot of pens and here are my favorite pens. They really do make the making of the to do list better because they write so well!
The Best Gel Ink Pen
I love writing with these gel ink pens; it glides across the page! They don’t smudge and they come in a ton of colors which is critical for when you’re color coding your planner or just trying to make certain things stand out.
I also appreciate the clickable open-close so that I don’t have to keep up with a pen top. In the category of gel ink, they are the best pens!
The Best Ball Point Pens
As much as I prefer to write in color, sometimes you just need a classic black ink ball point pen. I’ve never been a fan of writing with an ink ball pen until I found these. I was given one at a conference and was amazed at how well it wrote. I did some research so I could get more! These are the best ball point pens!
These ball point pens are clickable, so I don’t have to keep up with a top, and they even have a stylus on the end for you to use with your ipad or phone. I feel so astute when I actually do that, ha! Tip–that’s a great way to create handwritten text on stories in instagram! The bright color coating of these pens make it easier to find in your purse, too.
More Favorite Writing
While we’re chatting about writing, I can’t leave out the good old sharpie. I keep a black sharpie in my purse; leftover habits from my event planning days and always making last minute nametags. I’m 3 years out of that profession and I can still say I use a classic sharpie regularly.
I also love the colorful sharpies. I use these most to write on gift tags. I find a color that coordinates well with the tag or wrapping paper; it adds a special finishing touch. Red and green at Christmas (love the lime green in the pack) or the light blue on baby gifts.
