I love setting the table. Beyond looking cute, having the table set invites us to sit at the table and enjoy each other’s company–even if it’s just the two of us. The pink pagoda plates were just begging for a pink and red tablescape the week of Valentines!

Durable Melamine
While I’m not afraid to use vintage and formal china, it is so fun to have a chinoiserie pattern on a durable melamine plate. These stay in our kitchen cabinets and I grab them frequently because it’s just too easy to toss in the dishwasher and microwave!

My husband endures my plate obsession and he is very picky about what he eats off of. He likes that these don’t have ridges or raised edges–just one smooth plate. He appreciates being able to heat leftovers on it, too.
