Tailgate Essentials

With football season right around the corner, it’s time we get ready for the season! I’m sharing a few tailgate essentials that will help you have an efficient packing, setting up, and cleaning up experience.

The Essentials

• taller tailgate table — Obviously, you need a table to set your food and buffet. Everyone seems to go for the 6 foot table; however, I much prefer this shorter and slightly narrower table because it’s taller. It’s easier to serve food on a taller surface. *Event Planner Tip* If you already have a large table, set this up behind it and you’ve got an amazing two tier buffet that’s perfect for larger tailgates!
• tray table — *Event Planner Tip* At any event, it’s so important to create zones. A tailgate is no different. I enjoy using a tray table as a separate station for beverages.
• storage — If you tailgate every week, you need a bin to keep those items that you use constantly: paper towels, garbage bags, plates, etc. Y’all know how much I adore a SCOUT bin. I use these all the time and they’re the perfect size to carry everything. *Bonus* the hard lid makes them a perfect ottoman or additional seat at the tailgate.
