Avara has just released the “Apres Ski Collection” which might as well be nicknamed the “after Christmas collection” in my book. By the time January rolls around, I am ready to ditch the heavy and dark clothing and go for some thing bright that’s also warm. That’s exactly what this collection is!

Yes, a coatigan. It’s the perfect layer for our chilly winter days while you’re out and about. This is cozy and warm while also being very comfortable. I love wearing a coatigan if I’m going to be in and out of the car because it is so much less bulky than a heavy winter coat. The lavender color is soooo flattering, and it’s a lovely pop to winter white! Sizing tip: I ordered a medium and it fits a little oversized. Because I’m wearing it over a light layer, I could have taken the small. So I would say size down unless you’re gonna wear a bulky layer underneath, then stick to your true size.
I heart Pink and Orange Sweater

I can’t resist something with pink and orange. This sweater has both with a touch of lavender. I feel like it’s saying “I heart Clemson” so of course I had to get it! Even if you’re not a Clemson gal, the blush, lavender and orange are so pretty and fun for Valentine’s Day. Sizing tip: true to size!

I’ve clearly got a thing for lavender these days and it’s clearly a big trend! I am here for it! It’s soft like blush pink and looks beautiful with winter white. It’s perfect for transitioning into spring, too. The pointelle weave of this sweater is so pretty; I love how it goes all the way down the full length of the sleeve. Sizing tip: true to size!
