I’m not kidding when I say they are THE best pajamas. I consider myself a pajama connoisseur. Seriously. I take a lot into consideration. I am picky about pajamas.
My preference for sleeping style, which shouldn’t be a surprise, is a nightgown. I don’t like wearing waist bands during the day (hence all the dresses I wear) much less at night. The LAKE Pajamas nightgown was given to me as a gift several years ago and it’s my favorite. It’s one of those that makes me do laundry. Like, I look for this night gown and then go do a load of laundry if it’s dirty because I want to wear it.
I also don’t like buttons on my pajamas. I’m a stomach sleeper most of the time (I hear it’s terrible for you but gosh I’m so comfy on my tummy) so I don’t like feeling buttons on my chest or stomach. I haven’t experienced night sweats from hormonal changes, but my bedroom is in the one room in the house that is the hottest in the summer and the coldest in the winter. LAKE pajamas are an amazing weight that I love year round.
These pajamas may be expensive, but when I look at how long I have had mine and how I wear them year round, the benefits outweigh the higher pricepoint.
Another area of pajamas that I’m picky about are travel pajamas. That’s right; what do you wear when you go home and visit your parents, or take a girls trip? Are you still sleeping in gym shorts and a t-shirt? Cus that sounds so uncomfortable, and like you’re still in college. Nothing says I’m a grown up like looking put together for the night. I say all that in jest, but really, let’s grow up. I don’t sleep in a nightgown when I travel because that’s inappropriate around family, but I do like to have a cute sleep outfit. I prefer pajama pants and a short sleeve top for being around other people. I don’t like shorts because they ride up when sitting down and that just feels like I’m revealing too much in my pajamas. A short sleeve top allows me to add an extra layer of a coordinating cardigan or robe. LAKE pajamas are the solution! And then you don’t even need to worry about a sleep outfit for summer vacations or holidays at home. You have one pair of pajamas that is cute and comfortable year round.
I’m considering getting a pair of the men’s pants for my hubby. During this quarantined time, we’ve definitely been enjoying the leisure clothes; particularly after doing yard work on a Saturday afternoon. Is there anything better than showering around 3pm on a Saturday and putting on chill clothes and being done for the day? Yep, putting on LAKE pajamas at 3pm on a Saturday and being done.
