Now that the wallpaper is complete, I am ecstatic to share these before and after photos of our living room. It’s hard to believe this is the same room!

The Wallpaper
This is the fourth room in our home we’ve wallpapered and it’s definitely the largest room with wallpaper. Many people said not to commit to wallpaper but I feel about it just as I’ve felt about all the other rooms that have been papered–it feels so homey! It adds such richness to the overall space. The soothing colors of green and aqua feel so restful. We have both said we enjoy hanging out in the room now more than we did before.
Coordinating with the Carpet
I adore how the leopard carpet blends right in to the space, too! We always hear people say “leopard is a neutral,” and I think this photo above exemplifies that. There’s plenty of other colors and patterns in the room, but the leopard doesn’t compete with any of them.
More to Come
There’s definitely more I would like to add to the room–finish with proper pillows, recover an ottoman or two, add a sideboard to the breakfast room. That will all get accomplished overtime! For now, I am thoroughly enjoying the dramatic transformation of the carpet and wallpaper from All About Flooring!
