Last week, I attended The Southern C Summit. It was 75 and sunny most days and it was so nice to be able to wear pretty spring dresses. Here is what I wore to the Southern C Summit. I think you’ll find some lovely items for your spring wardrobe!
Exploring St. Simons Island
The weather was so nice on the days leading up to the Summit that my hubby and I got out and explored the area. I wore my Cabana Life dresses; they have UPF 50 sun protection! These are so easy to wear over a bathing suit and go up for lunch at a resort or adorable with a white denim jacket for strolling around town. fit tip on the dress: I sized up to a medium. I didn’t want it tight over a bathing suit or too short.

Holly Shae Design
Remember when I got to share the resort line from Holly Shae back in November? I’ve been obsessed with the shell print ever since and I loved wearing the Arden shift. This is a silhouette I wear year round; I won several in different prints. It’s so easy to wear with sneakers or dress up with a heel. I paired it with my blue rattan mules for a casual but sophisticated look. Fit tip on the dress: I am in the size XS/M. It’s meant to be a looser, relaxed fit. I love the a-line from the shoulders; the fabric still has structure to maintan shape.

Pastel Perfection
I saw this dress online and then walked in the store and saw it and tried on several patterns (you’re gonna love the blue and white, the bright colored, and the bold) . It’s absolutely adorable for any spring ocassion–luncheons, engagement parties, Easter, baptisms, and more. fit tip for the dress: I took my usual size. I may have been able to size down because it’s a loose fit, but I am pleased with my usual size and cinching the fabric with the belt. You can tell it’s a little more cinched in the second photo and more flattering.

Bold and Colorful
TSC held a silent disco one night — so fun! I wore a bright pink dress (also shared here) and paired it with more colorful accessories. This dress is so versatile! fit tip: I sized up so I would feel better about length; I’m 5’9″.

Blushing Blockprint
Give me a pretty pink dress with lots of fabric in the skirt and a sweet block print and I’m all over it! I’d been eyeing this dress for a while and I’m so glad I had the perfect opportunity to wear it. I love the length and how it twirls (you know that’s important to me!). The sleeves are adorable with the puff and smocking just above the elbow. fit tip: I took my usual size; this is generous in skirt!

Upscale Dinner Dress
Hubby and I ate dinner out at a nice restaurant one evening and the Susan Albright dress was perfect! I love when I can pull this dress out of my wardrobe. I’ve worn it with flats and heels and it’s always classy. fit tip: I took my usual size!
