Front Porch Symmetry

When trying to add curb appeal without a renovation, it’s important to add front porch symmetry. Previously, our porch did not have any symmetry to it at all!

Here’s a few things you can do to add Front Porch Symmetry.

Lighting with Lanterns

Flanking the front door with beautiful lanterns is an excellent way to add symmetry to the porch. Not only does it light the way to your home, but it also lights both sides of the door which helps with coming and going at dark. I would advise in going bigger than you think. A wimpy light looks puny next to a big house.

Grounding with Planters

Continue the symmetry on the floor level with planters and live plants. And just like with lights, go big. A planter that is too small will get lost. When both lights and planters are large, it creates a one large focal point for the home and front door, thus creating a welcoming entrance from the curb.
