Fresh herbs make summer cooking delicious! I love planting a few herbs in spring to enjoy all summer long. This year, I was not going to use basic terracotta pots. You know I had to add some chinoiserie flair for my herb garden with blue and white planters!

Blue and White is Always Right
These blue and white floral planters from Amazon are perfect! The assorted sizes add depth to my little shelf of planters outside and they even come with the dishes at the bottom to catch drainage.

A Trio of Sizes
Three planter sizes is perfect for my favorite herbs. I planted basil in the largest planter because we use it a lot for cooking. And I hope to have a big enough plant to use a good bit for fresh pesto soon! I was able to fit two small basil plants in the one big planter.

The medium planter hold oregano (hubs loves sprinkling that on pizza) and the smallest planter is for mint. I enjoy adding mint to my everyday glass of water or even to watermelon lemonade (in the photo). I also used the whole planter and plant on my Derby Day bar cart!
