The pumpkin spice biscuits from Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit are back–just in time for the fall season!
Sweet & Spicy
I know you might be thinking the pumpkin spice trend is so overdone, but y’all, these biscuits are not that overly spiced type of pumpkin. The biscuits are quite savory with just a touch of fall flavoring. The icing is where it gets sweet. You could easily serve these as a specialty biscuit without icing if you wanted to. Serve with the icing for a sweet breakfast or fall dessert.
Stock Up
These biscuits are only around for a limited time and they sell out every year. I think the masses have caught on to how good they are and serve them for tailgates (super fun if your school is the color orange), brunches, desserts, showers, parties, happy hours, and more! Repeat purchasers know these pumpkin spice biscuits are a tradition and they stock up so they can serve them at Thanksgiving, Christmas morning, special Halloween breakfasts, and more.
Take Advantage of Shipping
While shipping frozen food can seem costly, I’m going to tell you how to make the most of it. First of all, fill a shipping box. Whether you order two boxes or 6 boxes, they are shipping in the same size box, and therefore, the same shipping cost. So you might as well order enough to totally fill the box. In my experience, 6 boxes will fill the shipment without going into two boxes.
When this box arrives, you’re gonna wanna keep it because of how insulated it is! The freezer packs are the best freezer packs ever. I’ve tried to measure how long they stay frozen when I have taken them out of town, and I totally lost track. They are meant to stay frozen in extreme conditions, so you know they are reliable and you can re-use them again. The box also has special insulation in it. I keep all of these items so I have an extra cooler when we travel. They are perfect for taking meals to friends and leaving on the porch, too.
More Favorites
If you really don’t want 6 boxes of pumpkin spice, I also recommend the classic buttermilk biscuits, the gluten free biscuits (your g-free family will be thrilled at family holiday meals; this is the best g-free biscuit ever), the sausage biscuits (my hubby ate 4 in one sitting), the fiery pimento cheese, and the biscuit crackers (in a resealable bag but you won’t reseal because you will eat them all in one sitting), and the blackberry jam (delicious on a grilled pimento cheese).
