The Best Frames for Prints

When I recently shared my beautiful addition of bird bouquet prints from Urban Garden Prints, I got several questions on framing options! Many times, I frame prints using options at stores like Michaels, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. I’ve sourced the best gold frames to achieve a modern, yet traditional and classic look for your framed art in your home.

When the art is beautiful and colorful, a simple frame is all it takes

A Frame for Every Style of Print

This champagne frame comes with a double matte. These are what I used to frame the bird bouquet prints. The double matte helps the print stand out and adds a professional touch to a very easy at home option. The champagne finish is that perfect mix of gold and silver and still warm!

Similarly, this option has a gold frame, but only a single matte. If you want true gold, go with this! This is another great option for bold art, allowing it to really stand out. This gorgeous pagoda scene would be stunning inside!

If you’re framing several large prints, this is a bargain option. You get 5 large gold frames for under $90!

You may be thinking that a set of 5 would be too many, but when it comes to art, I like to go big and bold. Play up the scale so you can see the art across the room; that’s what lures you in to go see it more! These pink sunset abstracts would beautiful on either side of a bed; grounding the space without being distracting. Then hang a pair of chinoiserie prints on either side of your china cabinet. And use the 5th frame for a botanical above the toilet; yes your powder bath needs art! Boom; you’ve added art to three rooms at a bargain price!

I have always loved this Audobon print! Flamingos are such a fun bird yet Audobon captured it in such sophisticated way. This is fantastic way to add pink in a very traditional, sophisticated way to your home.

I have not purchased this yet, but check out this great deal for a gold bamboo frame! Under $40 for a 12×18! They’ve got a variety of sizes, too! Click here for the 16×20. And click here for the 11×14.

When framing a large pair or trio of prints, keep it simple with a basic gold frame. I used similar style to frame the vintage bird mural prints. This is the best price I’ve seen on this large of a simple gold poster frame! You can’t beat it!

If you want to have the large frame AND a matte, this is the best option. It can hold a 16×24 print and still have the matte inside, too!

This bold colorful vase is super fun and impactful on walls. I would pair it with a simple white frame.

I love the look of multiple botanicals to create a uniform and tidy gallery wall. These blue frames could add a fresh modern appeal to create a new statement! That would be such a fun idea! Oh my, they come in pink, too!

Urban Garden has soooo many botanical styles and they come in all different colors. Wouldn’t a fun all blue and white wall in blue frames be ultra cool? Or make the botanicals lime green or you know I’d do a pop of pink! Here’s a preview of just some of the options!

Urban Garden Prints truly has something for everyone and something for every room! I love that I can put their prints all over my house, or even in the same room, but they don’t feel sourced from the same place. It’s truly my go to when bringing a balance of art across spaces.
