A pork tenderloin is one of my favorite entree items to serve a supper club or dinner party. It’s more elevated than chicken but not as fancy (or as expensive) as a steak. It’s also one of my go to meals to take special friends because you can marinate it a day ahead or so and cook in the marinade in the oven or throw it on the grill. Here’s the best pork tenderloin recipe!
The Ingredients
The best pork tenderloin recipe:
- 1 package of pork tenderloins (about 2 – 2.5 pounds
- 4 garlic cloves (or 4 teaspoons of minced garlic from the jar)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons of honey mustard. I used In the Curious Kitchen Bourbon Honey Mustard for an extra zing. (if you don’t have honey mustard, be sure to use country dijon or whole grain mustard with honey)
- 2 Tbs fresh orange juice
- 1 Tbs Herbs de Provence
- pepper to taste
- 3 Tbs of olive oil
The Instructions
- combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well incorporated
- pour over pork tenderloins in a casserole dish and marinate overnight
- grill on medium high for about 8 minutes on 3 sides
- or cook in the marinade in the oven for about 45 minutes at 375
Make It Extra
My husband is a sauce fanatic and when it comes to any type of pork, we’ve got to have some kind of BBQ sauce. I would also suggest serving the pork tenderloin with the Bourbon Honey Mustard as a garnish. It’s compliments the flavors and looks beautiful!
