Last week, I hosted a Girls Gameday Brunch. It was such a fun way to get all my friends together and just hang out. I think my friends truly enjoyed it! This week, I’ll be sharing the menus, the concepts, the decor, and more that made the Girls Gameday Brunch so successful.

The Concept
At the start of football season, I really wanted to host some watch parties but my husband told me he would prefer to watch the game by himself so he could focus on the game. So I said, “Fine, I’ll throw a girls only football party.” And so I did!
Hen House Linen napkins // pagoda place card holders are actually these ornaments // basic crock pot // fancy crock pot // tablecloth is custom // spoon rests are vintage Fitz and Floyd saucers // gold flatware is vintage, but I also have and love these // small glass pitchers are vintage – one is an olive oil pourer and the other is to a cream and sugar set!
I looked at the football schedule and picked a Saturday that Clemson was away so that I could have a good turn out of my friends. I also knew I wanted to make it a brunch so that everyone could still have a majority of their day.
The Invitation
I knew I wanted the invitation to go with my theme, but also be totally my style. I knew I would be using lots of pink and orange in decor and I wanted that on the invitation. I also knew I wanted it to feel chinoiserie with a touch of Clemson. I reached out to my friend Morgan with Miss Wyolene and she nailed it! How adorable is this invitation?
You can have Morgan create a custom invitation for you, too! Just reach out to her on Instagram and shop her store on Etsy. She’s the designer behind my favorite meal planning notepad! Read more about this planner here!
To make it easy, I texted the image out to all my friends. The mail has been so slow lately that I decided I would just text them all and personally invite them. If I was tech savvy, I would have included a calendar link to the party. Maybe I’ll figure that out for the next one.
The Location
I wanted this party to have a very laid back atmosphere so I hosted it in our basement den and deck; it truly made it feel like ladies lounging and catching up.

I also new this was the perfect spot in our house to make it cozy with the fire on (it was chilly that morning) but also feel like a fall tailgate by setting up the deck with cozy pillows, throws, and heaters.
More to Come
I’ll be sharing the menu (and recipes) in the coming days as well as all the fun decor that added a special touch! Come back tomorrow for more details on this fabulous Girls Gameday Brunch!
