The Decor for the Girls Gameday Brunch

My favorite part of entertaining is the decorative details that go into it. I love adding pieces that make it feel like me; it adds a personal touch to the party. Here’s all the info on the decor for the girls gameday brunch!

Colorful and Cozy Chinoiserie Chic Basement

Let this photo be an example of creating a space you love with vintage and mixing in custom pieces. The only thing I can link for you are the lampshades! The orange chairs are vintage and I found them in the bright orange velvet. The footstool is vintage and I had it recovered. The tiger pillows are a current fabric but I had them custom made. You can get similar here. The pink bamboo bar is vintage Drexel. The lamps are vintage and I painted them blue and gold. The statues are vintage and I painted them turquoise. This is my favorite spray paint for such projects. The painting is by my dear friend Riki; you can commission her also!

The Color Scheme

If you didn’t know already, my favorite color combination is pink and orange. I wanted this party to be a reflection of my style and just fun. When I decided to host it in our cozy, colorful basement, I wanted to use even more pink and orange in the details.

Coffee Bar at the Girls Gameday Brunch

Because these are my favorite colors, I have a lot of accessories (and clothes!) in this combo.

The Coffee Bar Accessories

To create a backdrop on the counter, I laid out Roseanne Beck paper placemats. It gave a nice pink to the all white surface! I used a Jayes Studio pink placemat as an area to corral all the coffee creamers and serve as a middle spot to pour the coffee.

The Buffet Accessories

I set up the buffet in crock pots to make it simple. This kept the food warm the entire party! I used a variety of m vintage plates but used adorable Hen House Linens cocktail napkins. They totally carried the pink and orange theme so well!

Hen House Linens at Girls Gameday Brunch

This is the cocktail size of the Hen House Linen napkins. I particularly like this size for a casual brunch and I think I’ll use them again for coffee or desserts in the future!
