It’s finally here! My round up of sneaker wedges! Let’s dive in to all the details about all the sneakers I ordered! I took them toe-to-toe to determine my likes, dislikes, and everything in between!
The first pair I ordered are Steve Madden leopard sneaker wedges that I found on Amazon! Things I love about these: good print, good heel height, look of high top without being too high, dexterity of ankle. What I didn’t love: a little difficult to slide on, not great sole/arch support.
Next up is a pair of flatforms from Target. In all honesty, I don’t think these are my style. They are very casual and would be great if your style is more casual. What I liked: easy to slip on and off, casual. What I didn’t like: a little big and wide, not my style, not a wedge.
The next pair is the pair I was most excited about; they are Linea Paolo from Nordstrom. I absolutely love the look of them. They are calf hair–I think that really dresses them up. I also loved that the sole isn’t so wide. What I love: the look, the pattern, the calf hair, easy to get on and off with the zipper, low wedge. What I didn’t like: too stretchy (almost walk out), sole/arch support wasn’t great, a little pricier than I wanted to spend, lower wedge, not great dexterity around ankle/too high of high top.
The final sneaker bootie is by the same brand but in a different print. Again, I loved the look and how these were calf hair and the sole wasn’t so high. Other parts I liked: a little higher wedge that gave more dexterity to the ankle. What I didn’t like: not great arch/sole support, too stretchy.
There you have it–all the pros and cons! I hope I outlined all the details so you can make a good decision for your style and foot type.
