When I started this project, I reached out to Decorator’s Best about collaborating. As an interior designer, I have access to trade accounts and resources that those who are not in the industry don’t have access to. However, Decorator’s Best provides that access to all! They are a wonderful resource for fabric, wallpaper, and more. I even found a few brands through their website that were completely new to me — like my bathroom wallpaper. Check them out for all designer details! I’m so grateful they trusted my bedroom design and gave me the opportunity to share more about their fantastic resources and products.
Bedroom Wallpaper
You may recall when I initially started this project, I got a few blue paint samples. I knew that blue would lend a peaceful, serene tone to the room. However, I did not want the room to feel like a little boy’s blue room.
Knowing that, I knew grasscloth wallpaper would add the mature sophistication to this bedroom. I began gathering samples of blue grasscloth and found the perfect one from York Wallcoverings.

What makes this grasscloth even better is the fact that it’s a faux grasscloth! That’s right–it’s not textured! It looks like a true grasscloth; even my friends who have seen this in person have walked up it and put their nose on the wall to look extremely closely and feel it. It’s amazing how good it looks!
I love the faux grasscloth because it will be better for my allergies, too! Because true grasscloth has texture, it can collect dust. That’s my number one allergen so the fact that I don’t have to worry about that is another perk!
Rounding out the list of perks of the faux grasscloth is the price. It’s under $35 for a single roll from Decorator’s Best.
Bathroom Wallpaper
When selecting the bathroom wallpaper, I knew I wanted a green to stand out from the bedroom, but still flow and pull some other colors from the fabric. I also knew I wanted a trellis or greek key pattern; this kept it from being too busy but still give the impact of pattern in a small space.

This greek key in a stacked tile pattern is the perfect choice! It’s by Seabrook Wallcoverings and also from Decorator’s Best. It’s also affordable at $90 per single roll.
There’s more to come on the bathroom–window shades, hopefully a shower curtain, fun accessories. Stay tuned on that! If you enjoyed this post check out my post about the Bamboo Blinds and the design board that started this process.
