Thanksgiving Bar Cart

To give you some bar cart inspiration for Thanksgiving, I wanted to think practically. Usually, a host is working in the kitchen for several hours, so I thought it would be helpful to have a breakfast bar cart! Load that baby up with coffee and pastries, wheel to another room, and keep your family occupied so you can have some time to get all that tasty cooking done!

I recently painted this bar cart! I’ve had it for years and always loved the rattan and size of the piece. When I found it at a thrift store years ago, I so desperately wanted a gold bar cart so I spray painted it this awful gold color. It was a good first attempt! I redid it last weekend by painting it bright navy and gilding the wrappings of the rattan; it was so easy! I’ve done one for my booth in grey and gold and thought I should try it for my own home. I love how it turned out!

I knew I wanted some blue and white but also some fall color. I fell in love with these turkey toile napkins! Look for them at your local stationary store! I found mine in Greenville at Shops of Provence. Echoing the blue and white, I used my Blue Willow cream and sugar.

I added my Fitz and Floyd coffee mugs and saucers (maybe they’re really a tea cup and saucer or an espresso and saucer? I don’t know much but I love the color and shape!) to add a touch of fall color.

The bamboo flatware echos the gold accents on the bar car and gilded accents on the cake stand.

The large imari platter on the bottom shelf fills the void and brings all that beautiful blue and white, corals and oranges, and gilded accents together! And guess what! It’s available in my booth! Sent me a message if you’re interested!

Come back this weekend for more info on the muffins and the coffee beverage!
