Spring 2020 Wish List

It’s only mid-February and I am more than ready for Spring. The older I get, the more I don’t like winter. It can be so dreary! And let’s be honest…the colors of Spring and Summer are so representative of me. Gimme all the pinks, turquoises, and orange! Here are a few items I am craving for Spring…

WHITE JEANS

I am determined to find the best white jeans this year. I say that every year but it is such a chore. Holler at your girl if you have found a pair that doesn’t show every dimple of cellulite and has good pocket placement. I’ve recently learned that a high rise and curvy fit jean fits my body type so well. That’s what I’m going to look for first when I start hunting.

Curvy Chewed Hem Slim Pocket Skinny Jeans in White
WHITE SKINNY
I’ve had great success with Loft Jeans lately and I would like to try the distressed hem…just dip my toe in the distressed style; I don’t think I can pull off the ripped knees.
Highest Waist Flare Jean
WHITE FLARES
I’m also really wanting some white flares. Sometimes white skinny jeans make me feel a little too exposed (for reasons mentioned above — cellulite, pocket placement). I honestly can’t believe how I am seeing American Eagle pop up on so many bloggers. Really? The store my parents loathed 15 years ago? Hmmm I’m an adult now and can make my own decisions. Yeah, I’ll definitely be trying these. Excellent price, too!

TIERED DRESSES

SHORT TIERED DRESSES
I will always love an easy breezy swing dress and I really like how the first tier of these dresses help to give a bit of an empire waist. This style from Gal Meets Glam looks so feminine and could easily work with espadrilles for a chic date night look; or wear sneakers for a casual day of comfortable errand running; it even looks like it could transition well right now with those Cole Haan shooties I showed y’all instagram.
LONG TIERED DRESS
I’m not usually a fan of yellow on my clothes, but this would look so happy with pink accessories–and we know I have tons of that! This dress from Willow Park Boutique says Hello Sunshine!

NEW SANDALS

I’m looking for something with a short heel. My feet and back do so much better with just a slight elevation. Cork or espadrille would be fun and I’d love a neutral or nude blush color to wear with everything.

ESPADRILLE HEELED SANDALS
This Steve Madden style might be a winner. I can’t decide if 3.5″ is too tall. It sounds so high but a lot of my other heels are like that and it’s honestly more comfortable for me. I love the texture of the heel with the clean lines of the sandal. Looks like an good light neutral for my skin tone, too.
Ana Kate Sandal
RIBBED CORK SANDAL
Now this is more my height! It’s more than I would spend on a pair of sandals, but these Schutz seem to have it all: texture through cork, slide, good heel height, versatile.

BIG PURSE/ TOTE

Y’all, I never truly got a great new bag in the fall and now I really need a new bag. I keep looking and playing around with the Barrington Bag St. Anne Tote. It’s so much to create your style!

St. Anne Tote
I’m loving their new spring prints. This blue caning–hello! It’s my vintage style in a bag!
St. Anne Tote
I keep going back to a neutral leopard. Leopard is a neutral and would go with my entire wardrobe. Add a touch of blush with my initials…gah this bag is so me!

What are you craving for spring? You know if I try any of these, I’ll be sure to share all results — obsessions, loves, dislikes, etc.
